St. Joseph County Democrats, Republicans celebrate Dyngus Day with daylong schedule of activities and appearances

The Monday after Easter marks Dyngus Day. Michiana and several other communities in the U.S. celebrate in grand style. Locally, the day mixes the Polish holiday with politics and serves as the kick-off of the Indiana political season.

The St. Joseph County Democratic Party and the St. Joseph County Republican Party have scheduled a full day’s worth of events and candidate appearances.
