Two shootings injure two people in South Bend

Two people were shot in separate shootings in South Bend early Tuesday morning, March 29.

A woman with a gunshot wound in her leg walked into Memorial Hospital just after midnight, according to our news partners ABC 57. She may have been shot at AMVETS on Western Avenue.

A few minutes later, officers were called to the 700 block of East Washington Street and found a man in his 20s with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital, ABC 57 reported.

Both shootings are under investigation.
