Indiana primary is May 3, and Hoosiers are running out of time to register to vote

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson is reminding Hoosiers they have until April 4 to register to vote for the May primary election.

Lawson says people can register to vote online by using the Indiana Voters app or by visiting IndianaVoters.com. They also can submit an application to register in person at their local county clerk’s office or any Bureau of Motor Vehicles license branch.

The Indiana Voters app also allows people to confirm their voter registration, look up their polling place, get driving directions to their polling location, find out who’s on their ballot, track their absentee ballot application or provisional ballot information and contact local election officials.

The primary election is May 3.

Indiana residents have until Oct. 11 to register for the Nov. 8 general election.
