INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana has launched a new online method for buying hunting and fishing licenses that includes an option for using electronic versions of those licenses.
The state Department of Natural Resources’ new INHuntFish.com licensing system went online this week for hunters, anglers and trappers.
It requires people age 18 and older to create an online account. Access fees will offset the upgraded system’s cost. The fees vary but will be at least $2 for each license.
The DNR says the system has several improvements over its predecessor, including free license reprints and the ability to save a license to your smartphone.
