A 24-year-old man was found shot to death in an apartment in the 200 block of West Garfield Avenue in Elkhart.

Officers with the Elkhart Police Department were called to the scene just before 3:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23, according to Sgt. Chris Snyder.

Police found the front door was partially open and the victim, Brandon Jackson, was found inside.

Police have not released any suspect information.
