INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana Arts Commission will award $3 million in grants to more than 330 artists and arts organizations around the state.

Individual awards range in amount from about $5,000 to about $35,000. The awards will be granted to museums as well as community theater, dance, music and visual arts groups.

The arts council said Monday that most grants will be distributed to small and mid-sized organizations.

The Evansville Museum of Arts, History and Science will get about $33,000. The Honeywell Foundation, which puts on performances in Wabash, will get $35,000.

The arts commission’s grant program is paid for with both state and federal funds.
