Family fight may have led to man shot, injured in South Bend

A shooting in South Bend that landed a man in the hospital may have resulted from a family fight, according to South Bend Police.

One man is in serious condition at the hospital Sunday night after a shooting in South Bend.

South Bend Police officers were sent to the 1900 block of Scott Street around 10:50 p.m. on Sunday, July 31 on the report of a shooting.

The victim is a male in his 20’s with multiple gunshot wounds, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

He was taken to the hospital in serious condition, ABC 57 reported.

Police have not announced any suspects or arrests.
