Man who died in motorcycle crash near Rolling Prairie identified

The man killed in a motorcycle crash on Saturday, July 30, near Rolling Prairie, has been identified.

The Chicago Police Department helped the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office identify the man as 28-year-old William Payionk of Mesa, Arizona, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Payionk was identified through facial recognition system through the Chicago Police Department, ABC 57 reported.

The crash happened early Saturday morning at U.S. 20 and State Road 2.
