A former Saint Mary’s College janitor will spend 4 1/2 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to possessing child porn.

Luis Morales was also ordered to serve 7 years on probation after he’s released from prison, WSBT reported.

Morales was sentenced Wednesday morning, Aug. 10, after he pleaded guilty to seven counts of child pornography possession in June.

Officers said they found more than 100,000 child pornography files on his computer and storage devices in February when they searched his home. Police were led to Morales after an officer was notified about child pornography file downloads on the Saint Mary’s College Wi-Fi.

Investigators said Morales would download files using the school’s internet while he cleaned the library. His use of the college’s Wi-Fi was the school’s only connection to the crime. No local children were harmed.
