Stepson arrested after man was found dead in Osceola

A homicide investigation is underway in Osceola.

Officers were called to a home on Barberry Drive around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12 for a medical assist call, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

On scene, police officers found the body of 62-year-old David Sause.

The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit took over the investigation when it was determined Sause’s death was a homicide.

Police arrested the victim’s stepson, Randolph Ramey, 25, on Friday in Goshen, on a  preliminary charge of aggravated battery.

This is the 19th time Ramey has been arrested, according to ABC 57.

Officials haven’t released information about how they believe Ramey was involved in Sause’s death.
