Longtime Mishawaka restaurant heavily damaged by fire

A longtime Mishawaka restaurant was heavily damaged from a fire.

The blaze broke out around 4 a.m. on Tuesay, Aug. 23, at Papa Joe’s Casa de Pasta in the 1200 block of Union Street.

There were no injuries reported.

The family business first opened in 1973, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
