Suspects sought after burglary at Elkhart jewelry and pawn shop

Police in Elkhart are searching for the suspects who they say robbed the Gold & Diamonds Jewelry and Pawn Shop in the 3400 block of South Main Street.

Officers were sent to the store after the burglary alarm sounded around 7:10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14, according to Sgt. Chris Snyder with the Elkhart Police Department.

During the burglary the suspects removed a safe and other merchandise from the business, Snyder stated.

The suspect’s actions were captured on video leaving the area in an older model Chevy truck which was possibly blue in color.
