Walkerton man in court in purse-stealing case

A Walkerton man accused of attacking a woman and trying to steal her purse is in court Friday for a bench trial.

Troy Burgh is accused, along with Gabrielle Adams, of attacking a woman at the Walkerton CVS in May while their toddler looked on, according to WNDU.

Burgh’s charges range from battery, strangulation, intimidation, possession of a deadly weapon, and possession of marijuana.

Adams, who is facing mostly battery charges, will have a jury trial on Sept. 19.
