Several upcoming Town Hall meetings hosted by the “Our Children, Your Future” political action committee are coming up for Mishawaka residents.

The PAC is comprised of Mishawaka parents, property owners and community leaders. They all are working to inform citizens throughout the city about the critical needs of the city’s school system.

“These Town Hall meetings are meant to give residents a chance to learn about the upcoming referendum, what it means to them as community members and what it means to our future,” said Bill Pemberton, business owner and member of the PAC.

Each meeting features a short explanation of the referendum. It also features a showcase of the referendum questions that will appear on the November ballot, as well as a question and answer period.

The next Our Children, Your Future Town Hall meetings are:

  • Sep. 21, 7 pm: Mishawaka Fire Station #4, 3000 Harrison Road, Mishawaka
  • Sep. 29, 6 pm: Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library, 209 Lincolnway E, Mishawaka
  • Oct. 12, 6:30 pm: Albright United Methodist Church, 504 W Mishawaka Ave, Mishawaka
