Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay crossing Elkhart County Tuesday

The 92-county journey of the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay makes its way through Elkhart County Tuesday.

The torch route will weave its way through Middlebury, Elkhart, Goshen, Wakarusa, and Nappanee. The day will start at 8 a.m. at MyBrook Dairy Farm in Middlebury. It’ll finish about 3 p.m. at Amish Acres in Nappanee, according to the Elkhart County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

92 torchbearers have been selected to carry the torch through Elkhart. You can read more about them here.

From Elkhart County, it travels to Marshall County from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. It returns to Michiana on Friday, Oct. 7, when it makes its way through Pulaski and Starke Counties. It’ll be in St. Joseph and LaPorte Counties on Saturday, Oct. 8.
