Notre Dame fighting hunger in community through food drive

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish might be struggling on the football field this season, but they are dominating against hunger in the community.

Sunday, the Notre Dame players came together to lend several hands at the Food Bank of Northern Indiana. It’s part of Notre Dame’s effort to “tackle hunger” in the community, according to WNDU.

The Kelly Cares Foundation also made a big donation to the food bank, which benefits the Food 4 Kids program. It helps the team make a difference in the community, and make a connection with the fans.
