Reward offered for Niles robbery suspect

A $1,000 dollar reward is now being offered for anyone who has information which leads to the arrest of the man who robbed the Chemical Bank in Niles last week.

Police say the man entered the bank around 1 p.m. last Wed. afternoon and handed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect took off on foot with cash in hand afterward.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’8”, medium build and wearing dark clothing.
