57-year-old Bart Lane Holle was located at his job in Nappanee by state troopers and taken back to his home at 505 Alward St. in Warsaw where he was later placed under arrest Tuesday.

Officers had obtained a search warrant for Holle’s home and cell phone where they discovered more than one thousand illegal images of children, marijuana was located in the home, as well.

State trooper Gretchen Smith led the investigation of Holle, working as a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Smith said she received information on Holle from a local cell phone store, when he attempted to have pornographic images of children transferred to a new phone.

Smith commented, “The sharing of information in cases like this is both a necessity and crucial in the fight for our children.”

Holle was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Kosciusko County Jail where he faces several felony and misdemeanor charges.

Members of the Indiana State Police Crimes Against Children Unit along with the Warsaw Police Department, the Kosciusko County Prosecutors Office and the Butler Police Department contributed to Holle’s arrest.
