A former Goshen man convicted of molesting his three daughters and a niece, is seeking an early release from prison.

Robert Rodes, 55, is scheduled for release in January 2018. He says if let out early, he plans to complete a three-month residency at Walking with Jesus Ministries in South Bend, according to the Goshen News.

Then, he plans to live with his wife in Nappanee. He also claims that he has “gainful employment” at a business in Wakarusa.

A doctor who examined Rodes in 2000 prior to his sentencing found him to be at an extremely high risk of repeating the offenses.

He had been scheduled for a court appearance Thursday morning, but that has since been cancelled.
