Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department detectives are investigating a report of counterfeit money being passed.

It happened at the Old U.S. 20 Wal-Mart in Elkhart on Nov. 14. The man and woman both  are suspected of using a counterfeit $20 bill during a purchase on that date.
