Not long after opening their second Mishawaka location on Edison Road, Family Express is ready to open up yet another gas station in the city.

Family Express is looking into doing something with the long-vacant Blair Hills Mart at Union St. and Dragoon Trail, according to the South Bend Tribune.

A meeting Tuesday will decide whether the city will rezone the space so Family Express can go ahead with plans to build a convenience store and gas station. If the rezoning is approved, the new facility could be finished by fall.

The vacant station has been an eyesore in Mishawaka, with city officials citing many code violations against the structure.
