No injuries to the driver of a school bus or the child on the bus after it was hit by a car.

It happened in Dowagiac on Monday afternoon, according to the Dowagiac Police Department.

Police say the 17-year-old driver who caused the crash was traveling eastbound on North St. near Orchard St. and failed to yield to the school bus. An ambulance was sent to the scene out of an abundance of caution, but both the bus driver and the child were okay.

The driver of the car was ticketed for failing to yield.
