Notre Dame’s Hesburgh Library named “Most Beautiful” in Indiana

The most beautiful libraries in the United States have been determined.

Business Insider‘s choice for Indiana was a familiar one in South Bend. The magazine named “the newly renovated Hesburgh Library at the University of Notre Dame, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary,” and mentioned “the new entrance that still keeps its iconic facade.”

The choice for Michigan was the University of Michigan Law School’s William W. Cook Legal Library, which they salute for “winning the A-I-A Michigan 2011 Design Excellence Awards for its recent restoration and renovation.”
