The South Bend Police Department is investigating two shootings that took place in South Bend Friday.

The first shooting took place Friday afternoon on the 800 block of North Lindenwood Dr., according to the South Bend Tribune.

Police were called to Memorial Hospital at about 2:20 p.m., where they found a man had been shot in the hand. They couldn’t get an immediate statement from the victim because he was being taken into surgery.
