A Goshen man is accused of kidnapping a woman and ordering her to drive him to a friend’s house.

Rocky Lozano, 34, is facing charges of kidnapping, interference with reporting a crime, intimidation and domestic battery, according to the Elkhart Truth.

Lozano is accused of making threats early Tuesday morning towards the woman before forcing her to get in the vehicle with him. He also is accused of threatening to hurt her if she tried to get the attention of an officer in a patrol car next to their vehicle on the way to their destination.

Goshen Police officers went to Lozano’s address on Greenway Dr. just before 3 a.m. Tuesday to talk to the victim. While that took place, another officer arrested Lozano during a traffic stop in the area of 2nd and Clinton streets.

Lozano has no bond and is still locked up at Elkhart County Correctional Facility.
