We’re still just over a month and a half away from opening day at Four Winds Field, but we know what kind of goodies the South Bend Cubs have planned for us this year.

The team picked out their promotion ideas based on response from surveys and social media, to put together a calendar for the fans young and old.

They promise more theme nights than ever before, with Belly Buster Mondays, Two Dollar Tuesdays, Wednesdays that celebrate the Chicago Cubs World Series victory, Thirsty Thursday, Fantastic Friday Fireworks, Flat Screen Saturday…and of course Sunday FUNday.

The home schedule will bring 18 fireworks nights and 11 flat-screen TV giveaways. Bark at the Park will be back, along with Star Wars Night, Super Hero Day, Jimmy Buffett Night, Classic Car Day, Social Media Night, and Fallen Heroes Night.

Several other special days are planned as well, including an All-American Girls Professional Baseball Night in July. And finally, the World Series Trophy will make an appearance on April 20.
