LaPorte County Police made a series of arrests connected to some recent burglaries.

On Thursday, Feb. 16, members of the LaPorte County Fugitive Apprehension Street Team arrested Jason W. Bailey, 30, in connection with a residential burglary reported to the sheriff’s office earlier in the month. Bailey had an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation as well.

On Tuesday Feb. 28, LaPorte County Sheriff’s detectives made two arrests of juvenile suspects in connection with a series of residential burglaries in the Fish Lake area in January. The two juvenile suspects, 16 and 17, were taken into custody. On Wednesday March 1, a third arrest of an 18-year-old was made in connection with the Fish Lake burglaries.

The arrests were the result of a month-long investigation in which it is believed eight residences were burglarized. Each suspect is facing three counts of burglary.
