The very latest, now, into the arrest of a suspect connected to a pregnant South Bend woman’s apparent murder inside her Michigan Street home.

The suspect, identified as Gregory Jones, was arrested in connection with the death of 33-year-old Kenyatta McCurry. She was found dead in her home in the 3000 block of Michigan Street, Sunday morning, after two of her children were found walking outside with no shoes or coats, according to ABC 57.

Jones was the victim’s boyfriend and also the father of her one-year-old daughter. A coroner determined that McCurry died of a gunshot wound.

A GoFundMe page started to collect money for McCurry’s funeral expenses and children has already raised more than $1100 dollars.

When will we wake up? March 15, 2017 at 12:09 pm

Maybe he was performing a home abortion and it had complications. I have no doubt he will be charged with murder for the unborn baby as well as the mother. Interesting that the mother could kill her own baby if she wanted to and it would be legal. Is it a baby or not? Only a baby when we want it to be (for political reasons)and just a blob when we don’t want it at all…
