A memorial for a South Bend shooting victim was set ablaze overnight Sunday into Monday morning.

The fire happened at Fremont Park, at the memorial for Cornell Taylor, who was shot and killed in the park in March 2014.

News of the fire spread on social media, according to ABC 57.

Fremont Park is one of several city parks that is getting a big makeover soon thanks to millions of dollars in city bonds.
