Reward offered for arrests after Walgreens drug store robbery

A reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects who investigators from the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department say robbed a Walgreens Pharmacy in Benton Township.

The break-in happened around 5:40 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, at  the Walgreens Pharmacy located at 875 E. Napier Avenue.

Two unknown suspects broke into the business and stole an unknown amount of prescription drugs that were in a locked cabinet, according to a police report.

Michiana Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the suspects’ arrests. Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.

Anybody with information is asked to submit an anonymous tip online or through a link on the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page. Or you can submit a tip through the same secure link using your smart phone. Look for the free P3 Tips mobile app. You can also call us toll free at (800) 342-STOP.
