Rural Indiana stats website established by Purdue University and state agency

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) – Purdue University and a state agency have produced an online data platform for statistics on Indiana’s 92 counties.

The Purdue Center for Regional Development and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs say the platform called Rural Indiana Stats can be found at www.ruralindianastats.com.

The data products available on the website include local government fiscal information, housing characteristics and socioeconomic characteristics on the population, economic, health and cultural attributes of counties. It offers access to more than 80 county-level variables.

Purdue Regional Development Center Director Bo Beaulieu says the website offers options including the ability to compare information on two counties at the same time.
