The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is looking into a suspicious death.

55-year-old Angelee Phillips was found dead inside a house on the 1300 block of North O’Brien St. just before 11 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

Phillips was found with an apparent gunshot wound, and investigators are treating the death as suspicious. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning in Kalamazoo.
