If you’ve noticed more Studebakers than usual on the roads this week, it isn’t because of the decent weather we’ve had recently.

The international Studebaker gathering has come to South Bend this week, and owners of the classic cars will participate in several events ahead of a car show on Saturday at the St. County 4-H Fairgrounds, according to WNDU.

The international meet also gives the drivers the opportunity to see, for the first time, new renovations at the almost 100 year-old plant where their vehicles were born.
