Elkhart high school teachers found taped to wall…for a good reason

Two teachers at Elkhart Memorial High School were taped to the wall of the school’s lunchroom this week, but it wasn’t an attack or a prank.

The teachers agreed to the stunt for charity, as two teams of freshmen students competed to raise more money for the American Cancer Society, according to the Elkhart Truth.

The week-long fundraiser culminated in the event on Thursday when one of the teams collected enough money to pull out duct tape and stick teacher Jennifer Summers and Assistant Principal Denny Trigg to the wall.
