The work of Seward Johnson has arrived in Elkhart County.
The Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau has installed 56 bronze sculptures throughout the county, according to the Elkhart Truth.
The sculptures depict various eras of history, from the 19th century to the 1970s, and people doing things like jogging, flying kites, and sharing an ice cream cone.
This is the largest showing of the 87-year-old New Jersey artist’s work outside of his own studio. This special county-wide art in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Quilt Gardens.
