UPDATE: Two hurt in drive-by shooting on Grape Road in Mishawaka

Two people were shot in an apparent drive-by shooting on Grape Road in Mishawaka.

Mishawaka Police say the shooting happened at about 10 p.m. Wednesday near the Chili’s restaurant. A shooter reportedly pulled up to another car and started firing. A person in that car was hit, along with an innocent victim in a second car.

Both victims are expected to recover.

Police say that the shooter apparently knew the victim.

Update:

Two suspects, 21-year-old Bryce Morgan Riley Dehner and 22-year-old Austyn Alexander Brooks, have been arrested, and formal charges are pending.

Both are preliminarily charged with four counts of attempted murder, two counts of battery with a deadly weapon, and one count of criminal recklessness.
