One person was shot in the area of Portage Avenue and King Street in South Bend.

Officers with the South Bend Police Department were called to the scene around 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, though somebody had already driven the 17-year-old victim to the hospital, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

So far, there is no word of any suspects or arrests. Investigators have not released any information about what led to the shooting.
