INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana Department of Natural Resources will be holding fireworks shows in several state parks in the days leading up to the July 4 holiday.

Indiana Dunes State Park in Chesterton will have food vendors and a display on Thursday.

Versailles State Park, Raccoon State Recreation Area, Pokagon State Park, Patoka Lake and Clifty Falls State Park will all have fireworks shows Saturday.

The Fourwinds Resort and Marina at Fairfax State Recreation Area on Monroe Lake will have a fireworks show on Monday.

Most shows will start at dusk. Officials note that attendees are prohibited from bringing personal fireworks to the parks.
