South Bend man allegedly leads police on chase that ends in Marshall County

A South Bend man on a stolen motorcycle led police on a high speed chase that ended in Marshall County Sunday morning.

Joseph Cromey was spotted near King Road and U.S. 6 in LaPaz on the stolen motorcycle, and took off in a northerly direction until he crashed at Tyler Road. He ran from the crash and was eventually taken into custody after being tased.

ABC 57 reports that Cromey was arrested on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement, three counts of theft and driving offenses.
