Sinkhole forms in the middle of Plymouth’s Centennial Park

Officials in Marshall County are working on a solution for a sinkhole in the middle of Plymouth’s Centennial Park.

The park is the site of the Blueberry Festival that’s coming up on Labor Day weekend, but officials tell ABC 57 that it shouldn’t have any impact on the festival.

The sinkhole is on the southwest side of the bridge over the Yellow River.

The city’s parks department is working with the county on a solution. In the meantime, there is a piece of concrete that is partially obscuring the sinkhole.
