Claypool man killed after vehicle rolls, hits tree

A Claypool man died after he lost control of his vehicle, hit an embankment, rolled several times and hit a tree.

It happened around 2:50 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, near the intersection of Packerton Road and 400 South according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver of the vehicle, Brent Timothy Riley, 27 was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.

The circumstances that led to the crash are still under investigation.
