It’s official: Notre Dame and Wisconsin will play a pair of games in the coming years for the first time in half a century.
Sunday, the Chicago Tribune reported that the Irish and Badgers will face off at Green Bay’s Lambeau Field in 2020. The home-and-home series will continue with the Irish as the host team the following year at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The official announcement was scheduled for Monday in the Windy City.
Wisconsin had an 11-3 season last year that included a win in the Cotton Bowl. Notre Dame are hoping to bounce back this year from a rough 4-8 season in 2016.
The two teams last faced off against each other in 1964.
