Homes, cars hit by gunfire in South Bend

There was no report of any injuries after two homes and several vehicles near Riley High School were hit by gunfire.

Officers from the South Bend Police Department were called to the area around 3 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, according to WSBT.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Police had not released any suspect information or provided word of any possible arrests as of late Saturday morning.

Hey, Safe Streets though…we’ve got that going for us…I mean we paid for them with our tax dollars so they must be working. Imagine how bad things would be if we hadn’t had all that money spent…so we couldn’t hire those 911 workers…sheesh.
