A fight at Marshall County Jail left an officer injured.

22-year-old Zachary Cowger is accused of battering a jail officer in a cell block shortly before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. ABC 57 reports the jail was placed on lockdown while officers broke up the fight.

The jail officer was treated and released at Plymouth Hospital.

Cowger, ironically enough, was already in jail awaiting trial on multiple charges…including battery on a police officer during his August arrest.
