Three people were injured when a motorcycle and horse-drawn buggy collided in Elkhart County.
The crash happened just before 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, near the intersection of State Road 19 and County Road 36.
A 41-year-old Goshen man collided into the back of the buggy, which was waiting to make a left turn, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to an area hospital with head injuries.
Two people in the buggy, including a 4-year-old child, suffered leg and facial injuries. They were treated at Elkhart General Hospital, the sheriff’s department reported.
