South Bend has placed high on a list of the best cities in America for baseball.

More than 360 cities with at least one college or professional baseball team were scrutinized by the website WalletHub, and South Bend was ranked 32nd overall and 6th among mid-sized cities in the US.

Factors included ticket price, performance level, stadium accessibility and most engaged fans.

The ranking was helped by the South Bend Cubs ranking 14th among minor league teams, and Notre Dame ranking 136th among college teams.
