Man accused of drunk driving before crash near Nappanee

A man is recovering after he flipped his vehicle in Elkhart County early Saturday morning.

The crash happened on U.S. 6 east of C.R. 100 near Nappanee. Officers say a 29-year-old man crossed the center line and went off the north side of the road. He ended up rolling his vehicle several times.

He was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with a non-life threatening head injury. Charges of Operating While Intoxicated are pending.
