South Bend Police have arrested a 19-year-old man and a juvenile suspected in a rash of robberies that took place on the city’s east and southeast sides last month.

The victims in those cases reported being approached by individuals wearing hoodies and holding a gun and being robbed of cash and cell phones, according to a news release from the South Bend Police Department.

Fred Brand and the juvenile are being interviewed by detectives with the South Bend Police Investigative Bureau to see if they are connected to any other robberies in the city, the news release stated.
