Mishawaka Police issue warning about about credit/debit card thieves

The Mishawaka Police Department wants to send out an alert for all credit/debit card users:

Within the last week unknown suspects removed credit cards, debit cards and wallets out of purses that were left dangling over seats while the owners were eating and used them to purchase merchandise in large quantities at popular local businesses in the Grape Road and Main Street area.

The Mishawaka Police Department is advising area residents and shoppers to check with your local banks and credit card companies to make sure your accounts have not been compromised.

This alert was sent out after victims contacted the police department to file reports concerning unauthorized use of their credit/debit cards.

At this time it unknown exactly where all of the transactions have occurred.

The Mishawaka Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to help identify the suspects in this case.
