A Mishawaka man is going to prison for having child pornography.

58-year-old Kevin Street was sentenced Wednesday to eight years in state prison, with two years suspended.

Street was charged in July 2017 after investigators found over 100 files of child pornography on Street’s computer. Though he deleted many of the images he had compiled, the St. Joseph County Cybercrimes Unit uncovered over 1,400 files of child pornography that he had.

When he was arrested, he admitted that he used his computer to find and download images of children under the age of 12 performing sex acts on adults.

He’s also ordered to spend two years of probation after he’s released.
